Window of Opportunity

Window of Clarity.jpg

When it becomes clear again,

act on it.

When your body feels no pain,

listen.

When your outlook improves,

move forward.

This is the window of opportunity. I see it often as patients progress through treatment. It’s an aha moment, a hallelujah, a profound motivation to be better. Though as quickly as this window opens, it can slam shut with the curtains drawn into an “I’m not ready, yet” situation. Inevitably, the feelings of unwellness return, often with a vengeance.

When something higher is calling you, when you find meaning again, when your purpose becomes clear - every ounce of your being will feel it. So before that window has a chance to close, act on it in any way you can. No matter how small the step, act on it.

Once you experience a glimmer of higher purpose, an expansion of your container, your body will always remember what it’s like to be in alignment.

This is why there is no need to worry, because if you ever go off course, your body will certainly remind you. And if needed, the universe will remind you, adding to your life what you need, and shedding away what you don’t.

Some advice:

Put your effort into falling in love with the process. You’ll save a whole hell of a lot of pain, energy, and resources if you don’t resist. Any perceived negative can either be a distraction, or it can be a signal pointing you in the right direction. When in doubt, shine a light on where there is movement, and disregard what inevitably keeps you stuck.
